Although the support options listed here should cover most customers needs, Status Computers can also offer tailored support options to meet any individual requirements,

Support Services

Status computers have been providing service and support to local businesses since 1977. We have a team of highly skilled experienced IT professionals operating throughout Hampshire and Dorset. The support issues that we encounter have changed greatly over the years. Support has moved from being focused on hardware failures to encompass the operating systems, application software, security issues and end user training required by current systems.

 

As part of our commitment to provide complete business solutions we currently offer three types of support options to our customers. Each has its own advantages but all are designed to provide peace of mind and confidence to our clients.

Option 1: Priority Support Points

These points are available for purchase in-advance at discounted rates. They are used to provide telephone, remote access and on-site support. Each point equates to one minute of support from one of our technical support staff. Any type of IT related task may be requested using the point system, options include but are not limited to:

Option 2: Fully Comprehensive Hardware Maintenance

This option provides comprehensive cover for your computer hardware and peripherals. We provide a free initial on-site survey of your hardware to enable us to offer the best solution for your business.

Under this option we will attend your site, diagnose your hardware failure and replace any faulty components. The types of hardware covered include, but is not limited to the following:

This option provides the same or next working day response to hardware failures. Faulty components are replaced at no extra cost by experienced technical engineers. This option combined with support points will provide you with complete peace of mind.

Option 3: Pay As You Go

This option is ideal for non-business critical systems. We will provide one our on-site technical engineers on an as needed basis. You can use this option as needed for system support, hardware installations, failures or upgrades. This option needs to be booked in advance to ensure the engineers availability.

 

Call out fees include travelling and the first hour on-site £85.00

Subsequent hours on-site £60.00

Tailored Support

We recognise that not all businesses have the same IT support needs. A combination of options 1 and 2 should provide the required level of support for most organisations.
